Türkiye was hit by twin earthquakes in February 6. More than 10 provinces were affected from earthquakes and almost 50.000 people died.
The affected region contributes to Turkish economy by 10%. Gaziantep city solely has 5% contribution. Unfortunately, the massive quakes have destroyed many factories entirely or in part.
In order for a quick resilience, foreign buyers should continue to buy from Turkish producers, particularly from those in affected area. A positive discrimination is necessary for recovery.
